Recently I saw the wizard of oz the play. Now as many people know the movie is one of the most revolutionary films for its time, it was one of the first to use color. the way the story was told is and will always be interesting and intriguing. if you don't know the story of this timeless classic then you've been living in a rock for the last 70 years.
Now i know you all must be thinking get to the damn review. well here it is i really enjoyed this play, i couldn't help but have a huge wave of nostalgia role over me. the play did the movie justice in a majority of seances. there where a handful of moments that i found cheesy moments. like having more comedic moments that did not help the story. but that did not take away from the fun and joy. every actor gave it their all and that's something to appreciate in a play. over all the play is fun and anyone who loved the movie will enjoy the play just as much if you can get past some useless comedic moments.
